2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Back Vintage Release)

Varietals: 92% Cabernet 8% Shiraz

Appearance: Deep garnet red.

Aroma: Complex aromas of bramble, blackcurrant and wet earth, leading into dark chocolate and cigar box spice.

Palate: Rich and full mid-palate of dark mulberry and blackberry fruits precedes a focused and concentrated back palate of savoury herbal notes, cigar box spice and rich dark chocolate.

Oak Detail: Matured in a combination of new, 1 & 2 year old French oak barriques for a minimum of 18 months.  Hand-picked, hand-plunged in open top fermenters. 18 French oak barriques. 

Cellaring: Drinking well now, but will continue to evolve and develop over the next 6-8 years.

Alcohol volume: 14%

Acidity: 3.62 pH/ 5.79 TA

Residual Sugar: < 1 G/L
